Let's go Sailing! Day 5 & 6

Log: Thursday 1st December AM - tour of Vigo's Castro de (Castle) with fellow Challenger 2 crew. Boarded Challenger 2 at 13:00 PM @ Vigo Marina and helped get it ready for Sail. Day 6 Fri. 2nd Dec. AM Engine Repaired. Challenger 2 Set sail 13:09 hours Course 223. F3 What did we do? An advance party of experienced crew volunteered to help get the yacht moved from its overnight mooring to another pontoon in Vigo (Spain) Marina. The remainder of us decided that as the sun was

Welcome to Quay Thymes Cornwall

Welcome to Quay Thymes Cornwall, a blog about realising dreams for our life in Cornwall;  celebrating the sea, sailing, gardens, wonderful food, walks and key times (Quay Thymes) with family and friends.  ('Quay' to reflect my love of  the sea and 'Thymes' for my love of herbs, gardens and flowers). 

As my children spread their wings and embark on their next chapters, I want to rediscover a quality of life with my family and friends and share top tips of how to achieve a satisfactory balance of my full time job, which I love, with the development and nurturing of my passion for the sea and beauty of our green peninsular.  I love having the opportunity to share my passions and thoughts with you and together we can support each other as we get the balance in our lives to live well, laugh often and love much as we realise our dreams.
